Technology Specialist Goes Global With Advice

A LEEDS-based technology specialist will soon be showcasing their work and sharing their knowledge around the globe after achieving expert accreditation.

Finite Solutions, which was started between three Leeds University graduates back in 2002, has been added to the approved CEDIA  speakers list – the industry’s governing body for home electronics – after Design Consultant, Matt Wayne, completed both a Royal Institute of British Architects and a British Institute of Interior Designers course.

The company, which offers bespoke technology systems including home cinema, multi-room audio and visual systems and lighting for clients across the world, now has offices in Leeds, London and Manchester.

Speaking of their recent development, co-founder and director of Finite Solutions, Simon Mathieson, said he felt that continuing to improve their network of contacts was important when it came to future home renovations or new builds.

“Getting the technology right at the start has a huge impact on the overall enjoyment clients get out of their homes, and it can also play a big part in energy reduction too – it really does pay to plan cleverly at design stage,” he said.

Mathieson added that being formally integrated into CEDIA events is something Finite Solutions are extremely proud of, “We already had a strong involvement with CEDIA, having been nominees, finalists and winners of their awards, and it’s an industry body we really value.”
