Bradford chambers welcomes Richard Mansell, QC

BRADFORD-based Broadway House Chambers has announced the appointment of leading barrister Richard Mansell to their team.

Mr Mansell is one of the North’s leading silks and is a highly experienced criminal law practitioner.

Having been called to the bar in 1991 and appointed QC in 2009, Mansell is well known for acting for the prosecution in several high-profile cases including the Nick Griffin/British National Party race-hate trials and the infamous ‘Mr Gay UK’ murder of 2008.

Mr Mansell has a wealth of legal experience which encompasses the most serious criminal offences including homicide, serious sexual offences and fraud. He has also acted in cases of terrorism as well as sensitive cases involving terrorism. He said: “Broadway House Chambers has a superb reputation based on tradition robust advocacy and expert knowledge. I’m delighted to be a part of their exciting plans for the future.”
