South Leeds Businesses Encouraged to Network

A south Leeds Heritage Project aims to get businesses to network and develop new business opportunities at a Leeds event.

The Hunslet and Holbeck Heritage Project will be hosting two events. The first event will take place at the Temple Works in Holbeck on Monday, July 16 and another on September 28 at the Leeds Town Hall.

The focus of the project is to develop collaborative projects that are aimed at linking businesses and commerce with community engagement and world leading research. A further aim is to promote and network with key businesses in the Hunslet and Holbeck areas of Leeds.

The first event is to provide opportunities for local businesses and members of the community to hold trade stands.

Ruth Dass, event organiser on behalf of the University of Leeds, said: ‘‘This ‘Heritage Event’ is an opportunity for local and regional businesses to develop new business opportunities.’’

The Heritage Project will be holding a further event in September but the venue has yet to be confirmed. The event will provide the opportunity for local businesses to come together to promote and network with their trade stands.

To book your place at the events visit: www.interculture.org.

For the September event, an online booking form will be available for organisations who would like to bring their trade stands to the venue.

The Monday, July 16 event will be held at South Leeds Youth Hub between 1pm and 4pm. A free lunch will be provided.
