The Dutch Olympic Swimming Team flew into Leeds Bradford airport this week  following a short flight with KLM from Amsterdam.

The Leeds City Region has been chosen as the Dutch Swimming Federation’s training base for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.

Tony Hallwood, commercial director at Leeds Bradford Airport said: “It is a privilege to play host to these world class athletes and we are pleased that the region has been given the opportunity to showcase its excellent sporting facilities during the run up to the Olympics. We wish them well in the forth coming games.”
