Connect Enterprise Women To Celebrate National Women's Day

Connecting Enterprise Women a regional women’s networking group is hosting an event to commemorate National Women’s Day in August.

The event is an opportunity for women from all sectors to network and promote business entrepreneurship. It is designed to celebrate and empower women to come together to promote women’s economic, political and social achievements.

The event will also be hosting a panel discussion entitled ‘Women as Agents of Change’. It will feature discussion and debate from key women representing different sectors of business in the region.

Guest speakers will include Stephanie Burras, CEO of Leeds Ahead and Gwen Balson, director of Digital Life Bradford.

There will also be an opportunity of a tour of Marks and Spencer’s corporate archives, which have recently been opened at the University of Leeds.

Nation Women’s Day is a unique opportunity for the region to promote and celebrate the achievements of women.

The event will be taking place at the Leeds University Business School between 11am and 2.30pm.
